Smart home and low-voltage wiring in San Diego.
Smart home is only as reliable as the wires behind it. We pull Cat6 to every room you'd want it, install smart switches with neutral wires (the part most installers skip), and pre-wire new builds and remodels for in-wall speakers, doorbell cams, security panels, and automation hubs.
What's included in this service?
- Cat6 and Cat6A network cable runs to home offices, bedrooms, TVs
- Lutron Caseta, RA3, and Crestron / Control4 prep wiring
- Smart switch installs with neutral wire pulled where needed
- Wired doorbell camera installation (Ring Pro, Nest Doorbell wired)
- Wireless access point pre-wire with PoE injectors
- In-wall speaker wire (banana plug terminals, 16/4 or 14/4)
- TV mount with in-wall HDMI / power conduit
- Structured media panel (low-voltage hub) installation
When do you need this service?
- Wi-Fi is unreliable and you want hardwired ethernet to office or TV
- Smart switches don't work because there's no neutral in the box
- Building or remodeling and want low-voltage pre-wire while walls are open
- Doorbell cam install with wired power instead of battery
- TV mount with hidden HDMI and power runs
- Whole-home audio system that needs in-wall speaker pre-wire
- Mesh access points that need PoE drops in specific spots
What do homeowners ask about Smart Home?
Why won't my smart switch work?
Almost always because the box doesn't have a neutral wire — older homes wired switches with only the hot and switched conductors. Smart switches need power 24/7 to run their radio. We can pull a neutral, swap to a smart bulb solution, or use a Lutron Caseta switch that works without a neutral. We pick per box.
Should I run Cat6 if I have great Wi-Fi?
If your Wi-Fi is great everywhere, no. If you have dead zones, want guaranteed bandwidth for a home office, or want to add wired access points to fix coverage, yes. Cat6 outperforms wireless for video conferencing, large file transfers, and gaming. We run it neatly and terminate it cleanly.
Can you install a wired doorbell cam?
Yes. We install Ring Pro, Nest Doorbell wired, Eufy wired, and any model that uses doorbell transformer power. If your existing transformer is undersized (most pre-2015 homes), we replace it during the install.
Can you pre-wire for a future smart home?
Yes — and it's cheapest to do during a remodel before drywall goes up. We run Cat6 to every key location, low-voltage to thermostat positions, speaker wire to ceiling and wall locations, and conduit between floors for future flexibility.
Do you integrate with Control4 or Crestron?
We do the line-voltage work and rough-in wiring. Programming and commissioning of Control4 and Crestron is handled by certified integrators — we coordinate with yours, or refer one we trust.

Our 1960s Federal Pacific panel was flagged by our home inspector. Bright Pro pulled the permit, swapped it for a 200-amp modern panel, and had us back online by end of day. Insurance premium dropped the next month.
Installed a Tesla Wall Connector on a 60-amp circuit with a clean conduit run along the garage wall. Helped me file the SDG&E rebate paperwork. Charges my Model Y from empty overnight with no issues.
We bought a 1940s craftsman with knob-and-tube wiring. Bright Pro rewired the whole house over 5 days without tearing up any plaster walls. Crew cleaned up every night. Insurance dropped the exclusion.
